Autumn received her B.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering at MIT. She joined the lab in September 2021 as a research technician under the mentorship of Dr. Yuhan Lee and Dr. Jeff Karp. Autumn conducted her thesis research on tunable hydrogels for implantable biosensors in Prof. Michael Cima’s lab. Her current research focuses on oral drug delivery and hemostatic materials, and in her free time she enjoys practicing yoga, learning languages, and making music.

Lan Xin (Nancy) joined the Karp lab as a research assistant in November 2021 after graduating from the University of Toronto, where she specialized in Human Biology: Health and Disease with a major in Physiology. Nancy is working with Dr. Victor Ma on retinal cell regeneration. Outside of the lab, she enjoys swimming and exploring Boston.
